Tsinghua’s Auditorium was constructed in April 1921. It used to be the largest auditorium cum lecture theatre among all universities in China. Together with the old library, the science building and the gymnasium, the auditorium is also famously known as the Four Buildings of Early Tsinghua. The auditorium is currently the most popular venue for cultural forums, important meetings, faculty activities and movie screenings on campus.

The Auditorium, with 882 seats, is the largest auditorium and lecture room in its early years. It is now mainly used for meetings, lectures, performances, 3D film screenings and etc.
